Neighbors

Our neighbor recently passed away, and we are hoping to find a wonderful new home for his 3-year-old Beagle.

“He is potty trained and deserves a loving family who can give him the attention, care, and companionship he deserves. We would really love to find someone who will welcome him into their home and make him part of the family. If you or someone you know might be interested in giving this sweet boy a new home, please…”

The Wrap

Some trees are worth a closer look. The Alabama Bonsai Society's fall show at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens wraps up today, Nov. 8, with about 70 miniature trees on display. One standout is a Japanese maple that's about 30 inches tall and more than 30 years old, with leaves just starting to turn red. Small trees, big fall color.
