If you've followed the fight over a Shelby County transmission line, it's back in front of a judge. Alabama Power has asked a judge to order landowner Fenn Church to stay 300 feet away from its clearing crews. The company filed a complaint Wednesday, Nov. 4, saying Church refused to move back from a work area on Nov. 3.
Crews are clearing Church's land in Calera after the state Supreme Court ruled in Alabama Power's favor in October. In a social media post, Church said crews entered his property Thursday morning and cut down the oak trees.
