- ➤ Birmingham grandmother Brenda Paige Ward hosted her Secret Santa gift table Monday at Central Park to give holiday gifts to children who lost a parent to gun violence (she revived a long-running effort started in 2011). - ➤ Birmingham welcomes six new businesses and one closure this week.
