- ➤ Alabama hunters can now harvest two does daily following a regulation change by the Conservation Advisory Board, which boosts the Hunters Helping the Hungry program. - ➤ Seventeen-year-old Rose Kulungian is delivering 1,500 donated items to local residents in need this week to honor her late twin sister. She and her team, driving from Birmingham City Hall to nearby shelters, will distribute winter coats, blankets, hats & socks amid freezing weather. WVTM 13
- ➤ Shipt and the City of Birmingham partnered to deliver groceries to 1,000 families at Kelly Ingram Park from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday. - ➤ The Miles College Purple Marching Machine won the ESPN 2025 Red Lobster HBCU Division II Band of the Year title on Friday night in Atlanta (Mercedes-Benz Stadium) in a contest highlighting the band's discipline and precision.
