- ➤ UAB has advanced 14 campus projects worth $872M through new builds and renovations including engineering, medical, and student facilities. - ➤ UAB’s Engineering and Innovative Technology Development group won a $37 million NASA contract on Dec. 4 to design, build and test a Lunar Freezer System for cold stowage in space — the hardware will help return materials from the moon and Gateway Space Station and will support NASA's lunar missions.
