- ➤ Birmingham advocates will host Operation Dignity on Black Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of the Highlands Dream Center to distribute 300 care packages with blankets, hand warmers and hygiene items to support homeless individuals — a step to bring vital resources closer to the Eastside community. ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ On Nov 25, the Fultondale Fire Department reported 15 trees down including 3 on structures and multiple roadblocks—no injuries were reported during the severe storms. WVTM 13
- ➤ Mt. Olive Road in north Jefferson County was impassable after storms knocked down trees and power lines; first responders worked to clear debris — authorities reported more storms were expected Tuesday afternoon and evening. 6 WBRC News

- ➤ Roll Cajun Boudin will move into the former Iron City Grill location at 2208 6th Ave S this spring — a move that will bring sit-down Cajun dining, live music, a Cajun grocery, a custom boudin and sausage bar, full bar, and coffee shop and bakery to the neighborhood. - ➤ Regions Bank announced that Andy Voress will serve as head of Investor Sales and Servicing for Regions Affordable Housing — he will guide funding strategies and business relationships to support new and revitalized developments, reporting to Katie Such. - ➤ Severe storms on Tuesday caused over 44,000 customers to lose power in counties including Blount, Jefferson, St. Clair, Tuscaloosa and Walker — state electric providers reported the outages early that morning.
