Kay Ivey and House Speaker Nathaniel Ledbetter (R-Rainsville) filed a motion for a temporary restraining order in Montgomery County Circuit Court on Friday against the Alabama High School Athletic Association, which had ruled that CHOOSE Act student-athletes must sit out a year after transferring.
