- ➤ GasBuddy's survey shows local gasoline prices dropped by 8.6 cents per gallon in the past week to average $2.75, though they stay 4.9 cents higher than a month ago and 29.5 cents lower than last year. The national gasoline price fell by 3.8 cents to $3.14 while diesel climbed to $3.68—lower prices are linked to easing tensions in the Middle East and increased oil production by OPEC. ABC 33/40
