- ➤ The Food Bank of Central Alabama plans to open a new 100,000 sqft facility in Bessemer on June 30 — nearly doubling its capacity to serve more than 145,000 people across 12 counties with the help of 200 community partners. WVTM 13
- ➤ Two storage trailers at the Clay location caught fire this morning, destroying donated clothing, furniture and household goods while no injuries occurred and both Lovelady Thrift Stores remain open.
