- ➤ A 17-year-old was charged with capital murder for the Feb 1 shooting death of Ronald Martez Bennett Jr., an 18-year-old student who was struck by more than two dozen shots while driving on the 600 block of Eighth Terrace West at about 12:21 a.m.; police said he is now in juvenile detention & held on an unrelated charge.
