- ➤ Louisiana-based Origin Bank will open a Birmingham branch soon with local banker Will Hawkins as market leader. The new location will expand its network while reaffirming the bank’s long-term commitment to serving Alabama. AL.com

- ➤ Birmingham Mountain Radio is moving to a new studio at Lakeview Marina after nine years at Good People Brewing Co., and it will open in late summer when visitors can watch live broadcasts through glass walls. Bham Now
