- ➤ At the Walter Howlett Club, children now have a new STEM program using upgraded computers with plans to add drone training and esports by late 2026. - ➤ UAB scientists reported that 'zombie' senescent cells weaken muscles in aging and illness and are developing drugs to remove them (aiming to keep older adults independent) as they test blood biomarkers with hospital patients. University of Alabama at Birmingham
- ➤ UAB Sports and Exercise Medicine Clinic has developed the nation’s first adaptive CPR and defibrillation training video for athletes with disabilities.
