- ➤ Thursday morning, city leaders launched the Reinvest Birmingham job training program at City Hall after holding listening sessions (Pratt City, North Birmingham, Northside and Smithfield). - ➤ FEMA announced $1.5 million will be allocated to demolish four flood-prone properties in Hoover as part of a Southeast flood mitigation effort. The project aims to reduce future flood damage & prevent repeated insurance claims. ABC 33/40
