- ➤ The Bessemer City Council approved rezoning for Project Marvel, a hyperscale data center in Jefferson County, adding 900 acres to buffer nearby communities. McCalla residents, including Amy Mims, said they worry that pollution + rising utility costs will affect their daily lives. WVTM 13

- ➤ Alabama's attorney general announced Tuesday a $12.2 million settlement with online gaming platform Roblox to fund school safety, requiring the platform to enhance age checks + restrict chat access for users under 16 by May 1. The deal also means Roblox will train law enforcement on online child protection. ABC 33/40
- ➤ Lt. Gov. Will Ainsworth named Terry Lathan to the Alabama Charter School Commission effective immediately (replacing Julie-Ann McCulley). Lathan, a former teacher and ROAM director, will work on charter school policies as questions arise about recent school decisions. 1819 News

- ➤ The new Birmingham Heart and Vascular Surgery Center is set to open soon at UAB St. Vincent's East as an outpatient ambulatory surgical center.
