- ➤ Birmingham Police arrested Christian Machado, 22—accused of trafficking marijuana—at Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport on April 18; he remains in jail with a $500,000 bond as of Sunday. WVTM 13

- ➤ Apryl Marie Fogel from 1819 News joined Leland Whaley on Talk 99.5 FM 'Leland Live' to discuss her investigation into issues at Samford University.
