- ➤ Birmingham police arrested 104 people from April 7 to April 13 to reduce crime with 65 charged for felonies and 39 for misdemeanors—officers also made 192 traffic stops, issued 362 citations, seized 27 firearms, impounded 18 vehicles, and confiscated narcotics and cash. ABC 33/40
- ➤ Jacobie Williams, a former drug dealer from Ensley, now works with One Hood to lower violence in Birmingham by offering workshops on financial literacy, career development and personal wellness at the Campus of Hope.
