- ➤ On Tuesday, the Senate unanimously approved a resolution honoring six airmen killed when a KC-135 crashed in western Iraq during Operation Epic Fury, including three from Birmingham's Sumpter Smith Joint National Guard Base (local heroes). - ➤ ADPH and a state lawmaker questioned if Central Alabama Water followed the law after its March 12 notice to remove fluoride from the Shades Mountain plant by June 10 may have already halted fluoridation.
