- ➤ The Ruffner Mountain Nature Center has reopened after renovations, adding three new wildlife ambassadors and a refurbished treetop patio that was closed since 2018. The center is hosting a native plant sale on Saturdays in April and summer camp field trips starting in June. Bham Now

- ➤ ALDOT will close all US-280 lanes at Pump House Road starting tonight at 11:00 p.m. until March 23 at 6:00 a.m. as part of a project to widen the highway from Lakeshore Parkway to I-459 — eastbound lanes stay closed until Monday while westbound lanes open from 5 a.m. daily. Bham Now
- ➤ Alabama senators Katie Britt and Tommy Tuberville attended a dignified transfer of six fallen servicemembers at Dover Air Force Base this week.
