The Alabama Poison Information Center is raising awareness about poison safety during National Poison Prevention Week that started on Sunday, Mar.

UAB has launched a Phase I/II trial of AMT 191 (a one-time gene therapy) to help patients with classic Fabry disease produce their own enzyme and possibly reduce routine infusions.
The trial aims to improve treatment options and quality of life for participants.
UAB’s cardio-oncology program monitors cancer patients’ heart health before, during and after treatment with screenings and personalized care at UAB Hospital locations (including telehealth options).
The program aims to catch complications early and keep cancer care on track.
