ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • Governor Kay Ivey confirmed that three people died during a tornado outbreak on Saturday (March 15) that affected all 67 counties and prompted ongoing damage assessments.  6 WBRC News
  • An EF-2 tornado with 120 mph winds tore through Winterboro in Talladega County, destroying landmarks — including the old Winterboro High School — and claiming the life of 83-year-old Harry Leon Fain, with crews expected to complete cleanup in more than a week.  ABC 33/40

CRIME NEWS

  • Birmingham police are investigating a homicide from Saturday, March 16th after officers found a man with unknown trauma at the intersection of Avenue E and 16th Street in Ensley—Detectives later learned he was shot and urge anyone with information to call the Homicide Unit at 205-254-1764 or Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777.  6 WBRC News
