  • The Railway Marathon is set for Saturday, Feb. 7 at Black Creek Park in Fultondale. Race organizer James Graham said every runner’s bib will read 'Run for Christina'—a tribute honoring the late runner while raising funds for Unless U nonprofit programs offering life and job skills training.  WVTM 13

  • Tricia Wallwork, Milo’s Tea CEO, announced Monday that three new flavors — Fruit Punch, Zero Sugar Lemonade and Limited Edition Blackberry Sweet Tea — will hit over 2,000 Walmart and select grocery shelves this week, with Blackberry available through May as the Bessemer company aims for $1 billion in sales.  AL.com

  • Post Malone and Jelly Roll will perform at Protective Stadium as part of The BIG ASS Stadium Tour Part 2 — the venue announced the return of the popular concert series.  ABC 33/40
  • Pizza Grace owners Ryan and Geri-Martha O’Hara were nominated for Best Chef in the South James Beard Award for elevating their local pizzeria with fine-dining techniques while maintaining a lively, affordable vibe.   • GasBuddy’s survey shows that Birmingham gas prices fell by 2.5 cents per gallon to an average of $2.44 this past week (a drop of nearly 35 cents from last year), offering drivers extra relief. Prices varied from $2.22 to $2.99 across 550 surveyed stations.  ABC 33/40

  • UAB has received reaffirmation of its accreditation from SACSCOC, confirming its commitment to high academic standards for local students. Its next review is scheduled for 2035—ensuring continued quality education in Birmingham.  University of Alabama at Birmingham
