- ➤ Birmingham’s 55th Annual O’Reilly Auto Parts World of Wheels Custom Auto Show returns at BJCC from Jan. 30 through Feb. 1, featuring hundreds of custom vehicles, celebrity appearances (including WWE star Rikishi), and a free Hot Wheels car for kids during the first show hour. Bham Now
- ➤ The Bar’d Shakespeare Company brings clever twists to Shakespeare plays at Red Cat Coffee House and has scheduled free performances at Lee’s Coffee at Workplay and The Edge Homewood on Feb. 28. - ➤ UAB students and experts are advancing cervical cancer awareness by promoting HPV vaccinations and screenings under the OPERATION WIPE OUT UAB initiative launched in 2025. - ➤ The Veterans Mental Health Steering Committee announced a grant program, funded under Act 2024-426 with $3 million, that will offer Alabama veterans 24/7 mental health support administered by Uwill.
