About this event
Get ready for a night of sophisticated swindling and uproarious laughter! The Leeds Arts Council is proud to present the Tony-nominated musical comedy, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.
Based on the classic 1988 film, this show whisks you away to the French Riviera, where two con men—one elegant and suave, the other loud and uncouth—compete to swindle a “Soap Queen” out of $50,000. It’s a battle of wits, egos, and increasingly ridiculous disguises that will keep you laughing until the final curtain.
📅 Performance Dates & Times Catch the chaos during our two-weekend run starting Apriil 24th
🎭 Why You Can’t Miss It: Stakes Hilarity: From fake princes to “Ruprecht” the brother from hell, the comedy is fast-paced and irreverent.
Catchy Score: Featuring music and lyrics by David Yazbek (The Full Monty)
A “Con” You’ll Love: It’s a rare show where you’ll find yourself cheering for the bad guys.
